Two ways of cleaning the air, in one machine
Most air purifiers are passive: they can only clean the air that happens to pass through them. The AM01 also works actively, sending a fine disinfecting mist out into the room to reach corners, fabrics and air the fan never pulls in.
Passive: the filter path
Room air is drawn through three filters in order.

The liquid is what makes AM01 different

Questions we often get
How is the AM01 different from a normal HEPA air purifier?
A normal purifier only cleans the air that passes through its filter. The AM01 does that with a primary, carbon and HEPA filter, and also releases a fine mist of SantaFe disinfectant liquid into the room, which acts on odours and airborne bacteria away from the machine.
Is the disinfectant liquid safe to breathe?
The liquid is made from plant extracts including matrine, thyme and osthole with deionised water. Manufacturer-commissioned tests in China, including acute and subchronic inhalation toxicity and skin irritation tests, reported no harmful effects at the tested doses. Use only the genuine SantaFe liquid and follow the dosage guide.
Can the AM01 be used in clinics and hospitals?
Yes. It suits waiting areas, consultation rooms, wards and dental clinics, where it reduces odours and airborne bacteria. It supports, but does not replace, your existing infection-control procedures.
How much disinfectant liquid does it use?
About 1,500 ml per month in automatic mode, 1,250 ml in normal mode and 1,000 ml in sleep mode, based on the manufacturer's figures.
Can I fill it with water or essential oil?
No. Only add genuine SantaFe air disinfectant liquid, undiluted. Water, alcohol or essential oils stop the disinfecting effect and can block the nano-scale atomiser.
